About Me

I have 30 plus years of family tree research experience. In addition to researching my own family tree, I have also helped many friends, coworkers and others with their family tree. Everyone has a unique story to tell. Some family histories are easier to research than others. My family history took an unexpected turn when I started using DNA to fill in the "blanks".

Professional Experience

My professional work life prepared me well. Having years of experience as a Project Manager, Supervisor in Information Technology and working in teams built a strong foundation of research skills. It helped that from the very time I was a young child, I was asking questions about the family that came before me.

Volunteer Experience

Community service and volunteering in many arenas over the years has been a hallmark in my immediate family. I have served on boards ranging from my local community, regional, statewide and even on an international board.

Memberships

I am currently a member of the Saunders County, Nebraska Genealogy Society as well as the Saunders County Nebraska Historical Society.

Together with other DNA Search Angels, I help adoptees and folks missing part of their family lineage find their history or as Paul Harvey used to say, "The rest of the story."

There are many folks who have groups or profess to be a search angel. The group I work with does this without charge for folks. We must limit our research to people who are adopted or missing paternal lineage or their parents were adopted or missing a part of the puzzle. We are not able to do NON-US related research. Nor are we able to track down your distant family members.
