Joseph Campbell and Nancy Atcheson Campbell have been the target of years worth of research. Two forms of "proof" has linked Joseph and Nancy to this family tree.
1.) Joseph and Nancy were names as the parents of Amanda Campbell Jeffries on her cemetery card from Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio
2.) Old letters from Minnie Belknap outlining branches of the family tree as well as a Carl Campbell. (Kindly shared by distant cousin Jim McFarland.)
Timeline for Joseph and Nancy:
May 1787 - Joseph was born in Franklin County, PA
May 24, 1800 - Nancy Atcheson was born probably in PA
Dec. 9, 1819 - married Nancy Atcheson in Stark Co, Ohio
May 21, 1821 - daughter Amanda Jane Campbell (Jeffries) was born
Mar. 4, 1823 - son James Raymond Campbell born in Dover, OH
Dec. 12, 1831 - son Atcheson Campbell born in Wooster, Wayne County, OH
unknown date - daughter Maria Campbell (Keeler) born
1865 - died at his daughter Maria Keeler's home in Delaware County, OH
It would seem very possible that more children were born between 1823 when James was born and 1831 when Atcheson was born.
